Zero to sixty, in four…
that’s the best way I can describe a conversation with Steve Lehman to you. The man has a way with wit and words that by the time you have had a short talk with him you realize you have just been on an emotional roller coaster. The way he structures a sentence, the words he uses, the tone of voice (oh man that tone!) gets you worked into a frenzy that makes you feel like you have to go run ten miles just to calm down, “hell” I even keep a saved message on my office voice mail that Steve had left me regarding an interview we were working on, where in mid sentence he starts yelling at a fax machine or other piece of office equipment that was not cooperating with him at that time and just the way he does it sends you into instant hysteria, when I need a laugh I just listen to it ( “a real work of art” ) as he would say.

Through the years, Steve has worked and toured with some of the most outstanding musical talents in the entertainment industry, and along the way lived through and created some of the most interesting tales that I have heard.

One thing you need to know about Steve is that there is no gray area, it’s “black or white” and “right or wrong” but NO! “in between”, right from the start you will know where you stand with the man but just in case you had any doubts, believe me he will let you know.

I have been told on more than one occasion that Steve Lehman is the “truest of hearts” and after all the years of knowing him, talking with him and being around him, that is one thing I can guarantee you.
